Ó CONAILL'S BROWNIES

INGREDIENTS
- 500g caster sugar
- 5 medium eggs
- 100g Ó Conaill's cocoa
- 125g plain flour
- 250g butter
- 50g Ó Conaill's chocolate chips (milk, dark, white or a mixture)
- baking tray approx. 13 × 9 inches lined with baking paper
METHOD
- Turn oven to 180°C (160°C for fan ovens).
- Sieve together the flour and cocoa.
- Melt the butter until liquid.
- In a large bowl whisk together the sugar and eggs to a pale cream.
- Stir in the sieved flour and cocoa until mixed.
- Add the melted butter and gently stir in.
- Add the chocolate chips and fold in.
- Turn into the baking tray, smooth and bake 35–45 minutes.
- Depending on your oven this can take even longer. It's best to test with a skewer. When the mix no longer stick to it, your brownies are done.
- Let cool and cut into squares.
